Private Entrance: The flat had its own dedicated entrance, like a secret hideaway waiting to be discovered. It made me feel like Sherlock Holmes on the trail of a mystery.

The location was great, not far from a great gallery, deli and and stunning walks, and the bridge. The owner met us and explained everything. They had kitchen, prepared our dinners there. The window was facing garden.

The flat at Woodend House was a dream come true! The setting was like something out of a fairy tale with beautiful flowers and a breathtaking view. The interior was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was hot and invigorating. The host had thought of every little detail, even leaving us fresh fruit and delicious treats. Gillian, the host, was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the Isle of Skye. I highly recommend this self-catering flat at Woodend House for a truly memorable and delightful stay.

Our stay at the upper floor flat at Woodend House was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The flat itself was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, such as the Isle of Skye and Plockton, all within a short drive. The owner, Gillian, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The extra touches, like fresh fruit and Tunnocks bars, were a lovely surprise. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were plush and absorbent. We also appreciated having separate toilet and shower facilities, as well as an additional sink in the bedroom. this was the best self-catering accommodation we have experienced during our trip to Scotland.

One minor drawback was navigating the stairs with luggage, but this did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the flat. Additionally, being part of a larger property meant that there was some noise from below, but it was not intrusive during our short stay.

We had a wonderful stay near fantastic cafes, a gallery, and beautiful walking trails, with a lovely setting and a central location.

The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with all the necessary condiments. The location was convenient and peaceful, with easy access to Skye and other beautiful spots. The stairs leading up to the flat were quite challenging for me as I have mobility issues and a lung disease. There was no handrail on the right-hand side, and the steps were quite deep.
